Come out and help Michael Tscheu clean up his adopted spot. Michael is proud to report that the entire area between Watt Ave and Howe Ave river access parking lots is all RCWA clean. He spent 3 days last week collecting almost 700 pounds of trash from these neighborhood river trails.
Michael needs our help again clean the area from Howe Ave to CSUS. Unfortunately, several of the same camps we have cleaned before are now trashed again. It is encouraging that almost all the camps in the entire area are gone, but trash remains. Let’s go out and help Michael.
Meet at Howe Ave river access. Parking passes will be available.
This is a relaxed to challenging level cleanup with plenty of easy areas nearby. Something for everyone in this beautiful section of the river. RCWA will provide bags, but please bring along your sturdy footwear, grabbers, buckets, and gloves – a limited number of loaner buckets and grabbers may be available.
As with all events shared on RCWA, participation is performed solely at your own risk. Please place safety FIRST and do only what you feel comfortable doing. Moreover, participants will be required to sign a Release and Waiver form if they have not done so previously.
Overall, be safe, have fun and get some “Exercise with a Purpose”!
Thank you!
