Come join the fun in cleaning the lower bank along the Sacramento river. Over the summer, trash and debris has accumulated along the waterline and we wanna remove it before the rains come and flush it downstream.
We will make our way towards the Tower Bridge, walking along the uneven river rock and riprap. It is difficult to walk on and is challenging. We will use ropes to haul up bags and bulk items to the top of the Promenade, where we will load it into the trailer for disposal.
Please only do what you feel comfortable with and enjoy the unusual scenery of being below the Promenade.
Please park in the free metered parking next to the Embassy Suites Hotel or the free metered parking next to the Crocket Art Museum at O St and 2nd Street. Metered parking is no-charge on Sundays.
