The City of Rancho Cordova Stormwater Division will host 3 cleanups sites along tributaries, creeks and wetlands in the Rancho Cordova community. The City of Rancho Cordova is home to six miles of the American River, as well as to 41 miles of creeks and channels, some of which flow directly to the river. Anything that enters storm drain inlets in parking lots, roads, or along sidewalks can eventually reach creeks, channels, or the American River. This includes trash or other pollutants! Pollution can affect people and animals who enjoy or live around the river. Rancho Cordova is Ours to Protect. Come help clean up several waterways around the City to keep our environment clean! Volunteers will be provided instructions along with trash grabbers, bags and gloves to complete their cleanup mission
