    The Orangevale/Fair Oaks Big Day of Service is looking for volunteers for the 40+ projects scheduled for May 6th. Some of the projects are cleaning up Pecan Park and redoing the landscape at the Fair Oaks Post Office. There will be a street clean up in Orangevale and work on a number of the parks and schools in the community.

    The Big Day of Service is an amazing event that starts with a breakfast for 1000+ people and then people head out with their teams to accomplish their project within a few hours. After the work is done, people are invited back for a post project celebration.

    City Works Day features dozens of fun hands-on attractions for families! It’s FREE!

     

    Hop in a fire engine or garbage truck cab or play at a stormwater table. Come see, touch, and even honk police vehicles and construction equipment.

     

    City Works Day is designed to inspire residents to discover the City’s wide variety of public services and programs.
