This virtual talk will cover information on the wildlife species common to urban areas, including coyotes, birds, rodents, raccoons, skunks, and opossums. You will learn how to identify, prevent, and manage common negative human-wildlife interactions and pest problems. We will also discuss the types of beneficial ecosystem services wildlife provide and how to live harmoniously with wildlife in our human dominated systems.

The Great American River Clean-Up (GARCU) is ARPF’s largest annual volunteer event and is held on California Coastal Cleanup Day in concert with the California Coastal Commission. Whether you’re an individual, group, family, corporation, or high school student, we welcome you to come together and make a difference.

Go beyond just picking up trash at GARCU! We’re rolling up our sleeves to pull invasive plants, repaint picnic tables, remove unsightly graffiti, pick up trash and complete beautification projects that truly conserve the Parkway for everyone to enjoy.
