RCWA IS CELEBRATING OUR 2-YEAR ANNIVERSARY!
We cordially invite you to celebrate with us! Food and beverages will be available to purchase at Urban Roots, or just come to celebrate our anniversary and all our milestones! Everyone is welcome to join us!
January 13th, 2023 was our official launch of RCWA and we are so excited to continue this amazing momentum!

ARPF is looking for a group of 15-50 volunteers to beautify a specific section of the American River Parkway! This includes painting, power washing, weeding, mulching and more to refresh the most at need recreation areas on the Parkway. If your group is interested, please email volunteer@arpf.org with the subject ‘Jan 16th Parkway Beautification Group.’

Whether you’re an experienced environmentalist or someone looking to make a difference in your spare time, we welcome volunteers of all backgrounds and experience levels to join our Water Quality Monitoring team! Training and support will be provided to ensure you feel confident and equipped for the role. Trained volunteers record field measurements, document habitat conditions and observe species throughout the Cosumnes River Watershed every third Friday and Saturday of the month. This important and rewarding program allows volunteers to see and intimately know some of the most beautiful river spots along the Upper Cosumnes River Watershed.
