Other important information:
– We will meet in the back of the parking lot of the Regal UA Olympus Pointe Movie Theatre in Roseville (aka Miner’s Ravine Trailhead). Please arrive at least 15 minutes before 9 am.
– Untrained volunteers will be placed into a group with a trained volunteer. Groups will walk/wade upstream along a section of the Dry Creek watershed, roughly 1-2 miles each. We will go over the survey protocol the morning of the survey.
– Volunteers should have their own waders (chest-high), although we do have loaners available upon pre-request. Young people, ages 13 to 17, are welcome but must be accompanied by a legal guardian and all volunteers will need to sign a waiver form.
