Sacramento Picks It Up - Davis and SPIU Road 32A Beautification, Day 2
Location: Landing area for road 32A on East Loop End
Time: 9 a.m. — 12 p.m.
Difficulty Level: 1 – 2For the state-wide Clean California Community Days, Davis Picks It Up, Sacramento Picks it Up & Yolo County are partnering to clean up Co Rd 32A.
We will meet in the landing area on 32A east loop end. We will split up into small groups & clean west toward Mace Blvd in Davis. Close parking is limited but extended parking is within walking distance. Watch for signs.
Please wear long pants, sturdy shoes & sunscreen. Surfaces are mostly level with some gravel & slopes. Safety vests are mandatory & will be provided.
Please bring a litter grabber tool & bucket. We will have some to loan out. Restrooms are NOT readily available – plan ahead. MUST BE 13 OR OLDER with an adult.
Yolo County will have a few of their crew to monitor & direct traffic for our safety.

Join us to make our county roads reflect the beauty of our community!” The more volunteers, the more roadside we can clean up. Event Name: 24th Street Clean-Up
Event kicks off at 9 a.m. with coffee and a light breakfast, then teams fan out to beautify 24th Street from about 24th Ave on up to the City College light rail stop and surrounding area as turnout allows. We’ll reconvene at noon at Two Rivers Cider to eat Burger Patch and have some fun.
Sacramento Picks It Up - McKinley Park Trash Dash
Location: McKinley Park (610 Alhambra Blvd)

Event Name: McKinley Park Trash Dash
Come out to our monthly Trash Dash at McKinley Park. We will meet by the Duck Pond. City Parks has donated trash grabbers and bags, and will have a dumpster for us to fill up with our haul. Come out and enjoy our beautiful park, meet some new friends and build community with us. This is a very family friendly event, and a great community service event for anyone needing volunteer hours.

Sacramento Picks It Up - Friday Morning Arcade Creek Clean-Up
Location: Arcade Creek Park (5613 Omni Drive)
Time: 9:00 a.m.
Difficulty Level: 2 – 5We will get into Arcade Creek and haul out a number of items including heavy items, so bring boots/waders and gloves. There are also areas around the creek that need attention, so if you don’t want to get wet, that’s ok. The difficulty level of this clean up is a 2-5, depending on the terrain you choose to work in.
